also, I assume that the successful completion of this initial trial could be worth tens or hundreds of millions $$ to key players. surely offering compensation to potential participants to speed up the process of completing the trial is a relatively
simple and obvious business decision. ( The cash burn alone on overheads to drag the trials would be huge ).
