Zinifex has just sold its smelter assets for in excess of $3 billion. Acting chief executive Tony Barnes said the primary focus would still be increasing the business and that base metals would be the primary target.
" We have a very disciplined approach about what we look at - we look at lots and lots of oppportunities" he said. "We'll continue to do that"
" Ideally we really want to grow this business - we're doing this transaction to actually allow us to grow a mining business"
I wonder if AIM is one of those opportunities?
