A few years ago there was plenty of demand to support both companies. Then unfortunately China believed all the overly optimistic growth reports as did Lynas and built out their capacity substantially creating the current Glut. China's capacity is online Lynas is not. This with much lower demand from Auto and Wind caused prices to drop. Not some evil plot from China as some would believe. Want to make money from REE make sure you are working on facts not something said on boards. There are two major differences between Lynas and MP as Far as process. Lynas has REE alkaline out of concentration with some "undesirable substances. MP has mixed oxides with lower, waste materials. MP also roasts its concentrate before shipping or using it. MP claims these combined make it much easier to separate all the REEs. I cannot verify it, only time will tell. MPs track record on doing what they say is good, so maybe it's true.
