Several people have speculated that Fed will drop interest rates again. After Jan CPI increases most "Experts" are now saying the earliest is December.
A trend is developing over the last 2 ~ 4 years in US. The biggest Jumps in CPI are all in the 1st Q. Some Companies with a fairly stable Price structure only raise after the first of the year not monthly as in the past. Of course Items like food and energy change continuously. Also the impact of Trump tariffs will not be felt for several more months.
