Thank Ski. Add in shipbuilding in Japan and SK and the reshoring / friend-shoring strategy of the US starts to come into focus. You don’t have to buy the cow. They would do well to lock this deal down before a possible though not probable election win for frm. Pres. Trump disrupts the plans. US shipbuilding is basically nonexistent today and to allow Nippon to take over US Steel and SK and Japanese shipbuilders to produce on US shores with steel and rare earths from Oz involving US labor is a win win.
