Thank you, an interesting article. I don't think this is any threat to Lynas at this time. First no mention of Price, Strength or Longevity compared to Nd Magnets. The pictures show what I jokingly call refrigerator magnets not those used in Motors. There are many perm magnets that are cheaper or more powerful than NdFB but none are close to NdFB as far as ideal for Perm magnets for Motors, when price, strength and longevity are all taken into account. When these 3 things are not mentioned I discount the article a lot. I still see coper and current as the biggest threat. Right now NdFB has that beat. No idea what tomorrow might bring.
