Yes the government boosting prices by selling may happen. This supports what I have been saying for nearly a year. The government did start the REE price slide. Low demand quickly accelerated it way beyond what they intended. For about a year they have been trying to support price quietly. Now they resort to stronger actions. This is like short selling eventually the material has to be put back on market. Chinna has done this in a major way two times before. The government may actually make money selling at higher price, but that product will come back on market reducing the demand at that time.
JMO when governments get involved like this with quick fixes in the market long term it gets worse.
