LI gives many indications of REE use. Because many PM uses are associated with batteries. Auto, large and small tools. This resent action by WA shows Just how bad the battery market is doing compared to forecasts. The market is still growing but it was built out using forecast and they were way to high. Most of this is China Lynas failed to keep up. I do think this is a good move By WA demand is still growing and will catch up with Supply. The question is when? The exact same is true for NdPr.
Lynas has not increased output so far. They do have new capacity coming on line but AL does not want to produce more at this price. NEXT never meet its clams for output increases over 6 years. That is why I want to see something before I believe it, Not all but some sort of steady increase. I would be totally happy to see a single Q over 185 T or the 4-month trailing over 180 T. Their best Q ever was Q4 2023, 1646 T,
