Yahoo's summery on 15 Analyst for LYC AX EPS dropped last week from AUD 0.17 to $0.12. 10 Analyst drop their estimates so it was a brood sentiment. This is not unusual in the 20 to 40 days before a earnings release. Most Analysis are high for earnings out in the future do keep there banking business in good favor with the company. Then drop before the release so they do not look quite so bad. What was surprising is the 2026 forecast also dropped a penny usual you do not see a change that far out, 18 months, unless analysis think they are very high.
I am at 4 or less for half. We will see. Last 4 earnings reports, ARs and SARs, I have been less than Pros but more than what LYC made. There are some big unknows this half so I may be wrong. Two biggest are CAPX which went up when I was expecting down maybe Accounts decided incuding more of the grey area between pure CAPX and Operating expense could be justified. Also I do not know AU rules for Amortizing their 1.4B of CAP X so far and do not care to research it so that is a source of error. I do know that in 18 months most of it will be subject to being written down. and theirfore a direct impact on Earnings and EPS. Just not important to me to be accurate within 6 months.
