Funny you keep saying Motors that use NdPr. Some of the middle grade magnets like 35 M may be able to tolerate a little PR But the Nd has to be at a fairly high purity. High performance Magnets use only Nd not NdPr which you always say. Formular is Nd2Fe14B Pr is not desired but it is allowed in low quantity in low end magnets like those used on refrigerators to hold notes and kids pictures. Japan buys NdPr refines out the Pr and sells it for a higher price than they paid for NdPr and uses 99.9% pure Nd in their magnets.
