It was my great pleasure to welcome Mayor Li Chuntian from Binzhou, China to theCity of Perthfor the historic signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement betweenBCI Mineralsand Befar Group.
The $1.4 billion salt project in the Pilbara has been described as a green energy “game changer” and has the significant support of theAustralian GovernmentandGovernment of Western Australia. BCI's head office is in West Perth in the City of Perth.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this significant step forward for the Mardie project — the first of its kind in more than 25 years.
