Well not really aurum.
The FNQ has been in RAU's sights for several years now. As JK was getting a foothold in Amayapampa about 18 months to 2 years ago he announced the build up of a team at RAU headquarters whose responsibility it was to focus on FNQ and aim to develop that area for a productive project.
Many who like to chuck negative comments around about Amayapampa fail to acknowledge that fact. But the reality also is that the FNQ area gets shut down for quite a few months of the year with the wet season whereas Amayapampa doesn't.
JK has indicated in recent announcements over the last year that a project in the FNQ is likely to get a start ahead of Bolivia. So no big change in focus.
So things happen in the FNQ in fits and starts whereas Amayapampa can be progressed pretty much all through the year.
