Got these ($19)and ANZ ($21)nearly 12 months ago after they went ex-divvy, main reason because interest rates were on the move and the one thing I recall from the past is when times were tough every reporting season the banks were on the front page for their profits. Happy to ride out this cycle of rising interest rates.
And as for long term hold my folks have banks in their SMSF from the early days, ANZ at $5.50 average. Easy money!
