Will Woolworths once again demonstrate its retail power? I expect it will, but agree with those HC commentators that suggest WOW may have got close to reaching its peak of Australian retail dominance... and that mkt share will (slowly but steadily) be lost to WES and Costaco. I am not overly concerned by MTS or Aldi, although latter does have a loyal customer base. The high divs and share buyback underpin WOW SP but maybe $28 is about right. Recovering to $30 appears to be a longer-shot that i originally anticipated. WOW still my largest long position. Friday will reveal the interim results, although i suspect most interst will be on 'outlook'.
