I would love to see them spending any possible dividends on acquisitions, they could diversify into rare earths or mining services companies which would expand their revenue opportunities and give the shorters a lot of self doubt in the process. I still think they started paying out dividends too soon as now that expectation is baked into the share price. I would make rather see diversification to allow them weather any resource price shocks.
