As a self funded retiree I would be a bit selfish and prefer some level of dividend. I will need to pay a pension from my SMSF and will have to sell a few shares for that. In full pension I can't add outside cash to the SMSF so any dividend will help reduce the number of shares I will need to sell. I can use the pension to buy more PLS outside of super if prices retreat further. I have until the end of June so maybe I won't have to sell as many shares by then if we all see a good share price increase.
