I wish I could understand why non-trinis believe what they do
Don't despair zbusc, there is an understandable reason for believers rejecting the doctrine of the Trinity. The Bible doesn't mention it so it had to come from somewhere. Those believers who reject the Trinity believe that the doctrine was made up by Constantine and his gang for political reasons and believe that the fact that the idea was bought into by the majority doesn't necessarily make it right.
I suppose it's like non-believers not being to understand that there is even a Creator at all.
That's not even close. Most believers believe on the basis of faith. Most non-believers believe on the basis of evidence.
