Hi all,
i've been holding mostly LICs for a few years now. And while very happy with that decision, i've always thought i should diversify into global equities too.
Trouble is a lot of the LICs that do this are either new (ie expensive) or are more traders than investors.
My question is this: does holding the 'local' LICs (eg, CHO) give us enough overseas exposure?
Is holding an international only LIC/fund the better way?
Personally, for LICs, i am holding all 'local' ones - ARG, AFI, CHO, MLT.
Love to hear your thoughts - esp those who have thought about this issue too...
PS : the only 'international' LIC that i sorta like is TGG - templeton global who seem to be a buy-and-hold value investor. However, MER is %1 which is a bit expensive compared to my other LICs.
