Depends on your strategy and comfort level of risk intheblack.
Cash is always part of an investment stratgy/portfolio, however historically the returns are not great to keep a large amount invested. Switching in and out is hazardous and subject to transfer costs (a real negative in my view). I'd much prefer to hold a LIC or well machined organisation.
