    Yeah I was in a car with a mates lithium battery pack in the front console unplugged and we had to pull over when it started spewing flames out the side of it.

    There are so many variables that can go wrong. Any of the multiple battery cells, the protection circuit the needs to manage each battery. I would not trust cheap Chinese battery banks at all.

    Thank god there are safe alternatives like flow batteries to use in your home.
