I'm in the UK and also pissed I cant just be allocated and hold ASM shares on the IPO. I'm able to buy stocks on the ASX through ii invest. I have my shares held in the ISA tax wrapper (No CG tax). Trading fees through iii are around ÂŁ10/trade on international shares. Interactive Brokers are also very good.and rated as one of the best trading platforms. I have a trading account with them but it's not in a tax wrapper.
I'm assuming once I get paid out I can just buy back in to ASM through iii. Hoping there will be a good entry opportunity at some stage after the IPO.
