The non holder discussion about Sileach and fluorides is all hypothetical and based on assumptions about a Sileach plant that is yet to be built and yet to optimise the chemical use for a range of lithium rocks.
Several non holders have admitted that fluoride chemicals like Hydrofluoric acid or sodium fluoride are legal for industrial use. No one takes them serious now!
It is all about the potential to make a profit and that hopefully boosts LIT share price.
Plus, LPD has a new P-max for lithium extraction from phosphate rocks, which can contain high levels of fluoride. Aluminium byproducts also have a very high use of fluorides to produce metallic aluminium. Looks like LPD may be selling fluorides eventually. Its announced over on LPD on Hot Copper on 25/8/17.
It would have been good if the non holder (or LPD holders) told us about their new plans to use fluorides at LPD. Their argument just dose not add up now.
