    Let's be clear about what's at stake.
    Lynas want the Anwar govt to reverse a decision made some time ago. It requires Lynas to cease one aspect of their Malaysian operations; the cracking and leaching first stage.
    That's exactly what's being replicated (with extra capacity) at Kalgoolie. The Kal product will then be sent to the LAMP in Malaysia for separation and finishing.
    So as things stand there should be little or no production stoppage assuming the Kal development is on time.
    Of course a reversal would be great news as it would mean much of the heavy machinery required for a further expansion would be in place already. Also operating at the LAMP with its easy access to reagents and workers is probably a fair bit cheaper than the Australian desert.
