This restructure is devastating to the Cairns' economy.
Sure the current structure might be losing them money, but that has a lot to do with the pig-headed attitude they have towards doing business with the Japanese tourism companies.
I hope a competitor can enter this market and show Qantas how it should be done. Not likely though with oil this high.
