FWIW, my data doesn't contain that gap.

As an interesting aside.....In regular traded instruments (futures/ stocks - excluding indices) a long candle can function much like a gap.

Think of it this way, if 10 lots trade at a $1.00, then "real trading" starts at say, $1.25. Is this much different to the opening price at $1.25?

Indian and japanese instruments.....don't let yourself get bored, it picks up nicely at the end
