I thinks its very possible the election year and so much volatility that occurred could result in a better quarter than expected. Haven't checked average trades from election years but generally volatility equals more trades. Whilst i also understand seasonally more money goes into Christmas presents and other late year expenses like holidays rather than trades. Will be interesting to see, looks like the market it expecting not to great results but i hope there wrong.
