Yes, I've heard the horror stories as well Watso, and I go in with eyes wide open.

But I'm only 52, not 82!

And I've told her that I'm not wealthy, and she hasn't asked me for anything, especially money.

And as she's from the city, there's no 'sick water buffalo' tales of woe.

In fact she works, and has her own money, which is how it should be IMO.

I know about a dozen Aussie blokes who are married to Filipinas, and all appear happy.

But like any relationship, a marriage to a foreign lady CAN end in tears.

I read an alarming statistic recently, that 60% of people have been unfaithful during their marriage!!

Any relationship can be washed up onto the rocks, even those so called 'perfect' Western ones.

As far as child support goes, the father has an obligation to support his own child, no matter what went wrong with his relationship with the mother, or her country of origin.
