The concept of the internet was it to be indestructible during warfare!
Yet, since this technology has fallen into the civilian business community hands, it has become more unreliable then the old analogue technology. At least prior to the digital world it was unheard of a industry or businesses totality shutting down their services to the community
I'm not even talking about its greater proneness to hacking but simply management stupidity in centralising their operation thru entrusting it to one cloud company.
This is going against the concept for the reason why the Internet was develop!
Even prior to cloud based technology, the cost saving measure thaf a banking branch was not able to operate independently from the central server with limited functionality was ridiculous!
