    Woah there my good man, that would leave us with a dominant Telstra and a piss week Vodafone. Not some thing I would like to see. Besides if you dismantled the Optus network I doubt the existing Telstra network could cope with the congestion of all Optus customer having to use the Telstra network

    One solution would be for government to buy out the network infrastructure just as they did the telstra in ground fixed lines, improve coverage and be a wholesaler just like they are with the NBN.

    The wireless broadband I have gives me 25mps which is ample for me, cost about same as basic 12mps NBN but obviously twice the speed. With the benefit of hindsight government would have been better off investing in wireless networks rather than NBN
