Try the old fashioned way … head to a Telstra shop for 1 on 1 explanation of options and best deals, but don’t commit.

Then do likewise with an Optus shop, but again don’t commit.

Your nearest big shopping centre should have both.

Then get one of your children to assist checking online with other smaller providers like Belong, Dodo etc.

Then make an informed decision, based on price and good mobile coverage.
