"JJ5 China on the launch pad. Submission of video entries will be accepted via contestant entry upload system at www.jj5tv.com website, commencement date to be advised."

The above is what we read at

    http://www.uctv.fm/videos/2506-jj5-china-on-the-launch-pad

Though two months have passed since GCN's talent competition in China was announced, there is still no advice on how to submit your videos.

    http://jj5tv.com/requirements.html

Mind you, I hope for GCN's sake that management of www.uctv.fm have nothing to do with promoting this competition. uctv.fm's content is pathetic - almost entirely trailers for bands and movies, which production agencies presumably hand out free to uctv.fm and others.

No wonder www.uctv.fm has no paying adverts.

It gets worse. If GCN and uctv.fm are internet savvy, then why do both still tell us, right there on their home pages, that the competition is for Australian youth. I have just had a look. GCN says it is to "find 5 talented Australians", and www.uctv.fm tells us "UPDATE: Jermaine Jackson to launch new Australian Band."

    Update? They must be joking.

    It's pathetic, really.

A central question for potential investors is whether both the companies are in fact internet savvy?
