When people or companies don't have to be competitive, they surely won't be.
That's true. The majors much to their own beat and try to force their way upon consumers. Still with Big W...I have a sandwich press...but was sick of spilt toppings and having to cut the toasted sandwich. I wanted one that cut the sandwich and sealed the edges...securing the filling. Only one brand and model. I'm not suggesting every available sandwich press but one each from Sunbeam, Breville and Kambrook isn't asking much.
I also noticed that Big W has cut a deal with Eveready...Duracell is no longer available at Big W or Woolworths. I haven't checked but that may extend to Masters and K Mart.
