I rocked up into the local dan murphys the other Saturday morning and caught the eye of one of the ladies on the checkout.
I gave her a smile and a wink as I walked in.
This was the Saturday before fathers day.
went around and pick up my supplies
So I lined up at her counter on the way out.
I said "Hi mate, just these two thanks, oh .. and a bag of ice please"
She replied "shouldn't your kids be buying this for you"
I replied " I don't have any kids"
she said - good for you "they're over rated anyway"
I'm planning on going back sober one sat morning
