Some interesting results here given it was just an exploratory first pass drilling program.
Majada West mineralisation could have an extensive strike length, with intersections up to 18m wide encountered so far. Only 2 holes received so far, with several others to come from this linear anomaly. Drill holes returned come from close to existing small scale copper workings so opportunity to increase strike length between the two drill holes and further to the south. These intersections are dominated by copper oxides and are the surface expression of the sulphide mineralisation at depth. There is potential for the sulphide mineralisation to host better grades, but maybe over tighter intersection widths.
The chargability anomalies appears only weakly correlated with the mineralised intersections. However the resistivity looks better correlated.
Majada East.: One hole received so far, with several others to be returned from further to the east within the tenement package. Here, the grade looks like it could be higher but with only one hole, very difficult to tell. Assays up to >5% Cu are encouraging. Ag, Au and Mo at Majada East could be the result of a larger target in this area, or somewhere to the east of the project. Note that the San Lorenzo discovery is in this vicinity so could have something to do with that deposit, or leakage of mineralisation on the same structures that host San Lorenzo. Depth potential exists here too. The presense of bornite in the sulphide intersections could lead to higher grades and this is obviously whats giving the kick to the grade in drill hole 7.. The Majada East mineralisation is different from the west and has a different signature and has signs of a larger system to that in the west
All in all, an interesting set of results for RGX from their first 3 holes. Next few holes will likely be a couple of weeks away
