YES!Publicity (free, paid, bad, etc) increases familiarity with the stock.Familiarity generates interest in the stock and the science behind it.The science in particular, then attracts long term investing: both retail, and sophisticated.An increase in Buying pushes the share price upwards.When the time comes for a cash raise, the company raises at a higher share price than what it would have done when it's sp was lower (meaning, fewer shares issued = less dilution). Also, cash raise get well supported when the interest is high, including by new sophs.Strong science, with a lot of money in the bank: A dream scenario for any biotec.
So, the company coffers do end up with more money as a result.
