I mentioned it somewhere else but relevant here too,, having the electrolyte facility up and running is an important step for WA, Australia, this resource..
We have all States looking to add big batteries to the grid over the coming years, and we need to give them every possible incentive to A) choose VRFB's, and B) Hopefully award the contracts to battery companies that will source electrolyte from Australian businesses.
This is how our government can start leveraging the green energy money to provide more benefit to Australia. Currently the bulk of that money goes overseas, but we need to prove Australia can supply resources to these projects as good as anyone else.
AVL leading the way (slightly behind those QLD folks who got an electrolyte plant up and running first, but who's counting, we need multiple electrolyte pfacilities for what vrfb activity should be planned for the next few years).
