Of course, most people are not stupid enough to dwell and get stuck in losses.
Especially when ASX sectors (mining inclusive) are all going down for 3-4 days consecutive.
They do have several choices..
Get stuck with some hopes
Get out, temporarily or permanently (back to bank)
Switch to promising, growth, undervalued shares (LPM at this stage is at frontline)
