I want the drilling to be as purposeful as possible. There is nothing wrong with targeting drilling using geophysical surveys and prior geochemistry. I would consider "finding the best spot and drilling 300 m down" as a breach of fiduciary duty.
No, it's not "rocket science", but it involves modelling using stats, linear algebra and inorganic chemistry & instrumental analysis as well as GIS science.
