Biggest things Erbert mentions in that interview is the ITAR controls that prevent AML from working on certain contracts that require manufacturing within the US by US citizens because of their relation to defense technology. He also mentions an innovative part that they are making for BAE and the frigate program at the moment and discussions that they are in with the Australian defense forces on how to 'sovereignize the manufacturing capability for them'. Not sure what he means by that exactly, but I do like that they are in talks with Australian defense forces, SPEED3D managed some pretty significant contracts with the Australian defense forces pretty quickly of the back of some tests with them.
