In the video interview (above ) I was interested to note that Recce tries to avoid administering the drug orally to avoid annihilating the gut microbiome.

Administration by IV for blood sepsis, by spray or gel for skin/wound applications, or e.g. by catheter into the bladder for UTI are the preferred routes. This is a consistent pattern in the testing trials.

If one had not thought this through it would have seemed that not using the oral route was being avoided for other, unexplained, and therefore possibly sus reasons. Now it makes sense.
