Well, if you are genuinely interested in learning @BobF here's where you've gone wrong.
Firstly, drinking RCE swamp juice would not eradicate the gut biome; the biome is incredibly resilient, and nothing RCE have released indicates that concentrations they could reach in the gut would eradicate it.
Secondly, RCE would LOVE to be oral; it simplifies so many things. It is so much cheaper to develop, produce, test, administer, store, develop and stock. The ONLY reason they are treating "urosepsis" via IV is that they cannot get the concentration into the bladder via oral delivery.
Thirdly, even pumped directly into the blood via IV, the RCE magic pixie fluid doesn't hang around in the blood long enough in high enough concentrations to kill bacteria, apparently.
And fourthly, the idea that IV antibiotics don't impact the gut microbiome is incorrect; this is a myth. I'll leave you to do your own research here but it's all very interesting.
