Interesting ideas, yes, but I do not see any evidence you have provided for your assertions.
My reading of the trial results does indicate that the compound is excreted very rapidly irrespective of how the product is administered. Naturally it would be most convenient to take a pill to get the drug to ist site of action, but it does seem to be processed quite quickly. It may not be the most desirable feature of it, but that is what it does. I would particularly like to see evidence for there being no impact on the gut as suggested. If it is taken orally the concentrations in the gut will be large, and until it is absorbed it will kill whatever lives in the gut that is vulnerable to the drug at those levels. It does sound like it is pretty lethal for most bugs, and that would include gut bacteria I presume. In the interview this is also suggested to be a fairly significant consideration. So show me evidential proof that that does not happen, and if it does happen then how much. The poison is in the dose I think.
Once it is absorbed into the blood yes it will begin to be excreted and metabolised. IV delivery is used to get it into the blood, and from there to the kidneys and bladder. In being excreted from the kidneys to the bladder it appears to have been shown to kill the organisms responsible for urosepsis fairly quickly. If it is metabolised to an inactive compound I have not seen any information on that, and yes that could be significant. I would therefore welcome that info being posted or linked to. I noted that when the compound is dispensed into the bladder by catheter it is there very effective, If so then that is surely important and beneficial. If it kills them quick then they are dead quick, and a high concentration does not need to be maintained for long to kill them all deader. As I read it, that is the claim. If that is not the case please explain why the trials are being accepted as valid by the profession and funders.
I take it from your referring to R327 as 'swamp juice' and 'magic pixie fluid' that you do not believe it to be beneficial or effective. May I then ask why you show your disclosure status as 'held'. Why on earth do you continue to hold?
