If it is taken orally the concentrations in the gut will be large, and until it is absorbed it will kill whatever lives in the gut that is vulnerable to the drug at those levels. It does sound like it is pretty lethal for most bugs, and that would include gut bacteria I presume. In the interview this is also suggested to be a fairly significant consideration. So show me evidential proof that that does not happen, and if it does happen then how much . The poison is in the dose I think.
