Wally, do you know why management don't communicate in the way you would like? They are too busy! Why? Because they keep having to pick up the phone and answer questions from shareholders who cannot wait for a public announcement.

Imagine what would happen if we all called management. Not only would there be no time for formal communication, they would get no other work done at all.

Sure, shareholders do have a right to contact management but to suggest that this should be a free-for-all does not seem a good idea to me.
