yeah the thing is we're either still too early, or we've grossly over estimated the markets demand for this.

i dont like people speculating and joining tea leaves to come up with some magical conclusions but lets do it anyway cos why not.

1. hes on a press junket
2. they're not releasing any info on imec even tho they said they would
3. they're not mentioning anything about the retention even tho its literally the thing that makes it valuable.

conclusion?

1. theres not enough interest, hence the press junket, we expect there to be alreayd buyers lined up waiting for the proof, but thats not the case so now hes trying to "sell" the idea to retailers, hence appearing in all the retail stock infomercials.

2. imec "next steps" is a longer than expected roadmap and they know its going to smash the stock price, so they're not releasing that till after the agm as they need to get shareholder support for the 25%
3. management either doesn't actually understand where the true value in this tech is (retention) or they're underplaying it because its worse than hoped. (for example, 100ms at dram speeds, 10 seconds at flash speeds) <-- id hope not, but this is not an impossible interpretation of "retention is tunable")


i think its entirely plausable that we have all grossly over-estimated the market value of this stock, or at least, grossly underestimated the time to maturity of this stock as an investment.
