I am not a tech guru but if you don't intend storing data permanently (ie when device is off) how much retention do you really need for systems that are continuously operating?
Would it be more like minutes/hours/days than months/years? GPS Mapping data, aps running in background etc.
also what applications would super fast write speeds open the door to? would love to have a buffer of 4ds chips in my DLSR. would be same for mobile phones now their shooting 100mb 4K.
Advice from any gurus much appreciated.
