It’s very fair to have questions, but to repeatedly say they’re going to dilute by 25% (when that option has already been in place for years) and to say that ‘they said they’d announce in mid-October’ (when they didn’t) as one poster in particular is doing is just inaccurate.
previous negotiations with imec have taken months so there is no reason to think that these current ones should be any different. The company have said they’ll update us when negotiations are complete.
Same goes for the ongoing testing - they’ll announce when they have something significant to announce. Granted, we don’t know what they class as ‘significant’, but clearly they will announce at some point.
So the current silence that people seem upset by is absolutely and totally 100% unsurprising and to be expected. having been invested in 4DS for 7 or so years I am completely unphased.
we’re in the best position we’re ever been - doesn’t mean things can’t go horribly wrong, but on balance we should probably be relatively happy with where we are.
So I will join the calls to ‘chill’ with regards to the above points… but with regards to valid questions about endurance, retention etc then people should feel comfortable asking them - though they should be done so with the understanding that no one here can answer them
