Individual shareholders are still part owners of the company - I don't agree with the notion "Individually, a shareholder owns shares. Not the company". The shares held represents the shareholders' % holding/ownership of the company. If it's 0.1% or 100%, it's nothing other than the ownership of a stake in the subject matter. Obviously, the main difference between a 0.1% and 100% is the influence a shareholder can exercise over the company, where in 4DS' case our shareholding is very scattered, so individually none of us can influence any outcome, but that doesn't mean that we are not owners and it definitely doesn't mean that directors don't have a fiduciary duty to act in our best interest - not saying 4DS' directors aren't. We can only trust that management know what they're doing and acting in everyone's best interest - hopefully the silence is just that.
