he established that gillard had left the employ as result of doing work for her conman boyfriend and that she had not recorded meetings she had with the client (her boyfriend) to set up the bank accounts.

As result Gillard managed to sidestep the issue

what followed then was that the Labor Party dug up a whole lot of allegations made over 35 years ago, the Jones speech and the issue has almost all but been forgotten.
