Good morning!
I am not a native English speaker either, but I understood what Cornelius was telling about the financing. In the middle of 2021 he was close to finish the financing of the development.
Unfortunately, there are new US sanctions against some people in Eritrea.And that prevented the contract from being finalized and scared off all the Western investors.And because of these sanctions, now defacto only Russian and Chinese investors are eligible.
In my opinion, the most important sentence is the following:
"We still working, but were working with different parties with different motivations now." I think the Chinese prefer to develop the project on their own and now it's just a matter of how much they have to pay for it.
But this is just my humble opinion
